Clara Kundin Associate Education Director
Clara Kundin is an actor, singer, and teaching artist. She received her B.A. in theater from St. Olaf College and then continued her studies in physical theater at the École Jacques Lecoq in Paris. While in Paris, she trained in mask under Mariana Araoz and assistant directed her production of L'Opéra de Deux'Sous. She also taught neutral and expressive mask at the École du Jeu and performed with Moving Parts and as a voiceover artist. She began her butoh studies while living in Paris, studying under Yumi Fujitani.
With The Ume Group, Clara performed in the Lysistrata Project Workshop Production, "Lullaby for Madame L" at Triskelion Arts, "Flowers of Affordance" at the UNFIX Festival, and will perform in the 5-Year Anniversary Season at the Irondale Center. Additionally, she has performed at the Guthrie Theater, the GYM at Judson, Wirehead Collective, Flying Ship Productions, and the Cherry Lane Studio. She is a company member and teaching artist with the Galli Theater. She performs and teaches in both English and French.
