Help bring Isis Variations to
the New York International Fringe Festival
About the Show
The company hailed by The Village Voice for "commanding, physically impressive performances" returns to FringeNYC after a 3 year absence with a new Butoh-driven physical theatre odyssey. Four choreographers invoke the Egyptian goddess Isis to discover the mythic "home" in each of us.
How can you help?
Producing a show, especially a show at a festival like FringeNYC takes both imagination (which we have) and money (which we don't). We have fees to pay, insurance to purchase, costumes to build and much, much more. Therefore, our goal is to raise $2,150 by Monday, July 14, 11:59PM EST.
You can help by donating, either online via Paypal or by sending us a check.
Checks should be made payable to "The Ume Group" and mailed to:

How will the money be used?
Our $2,150 budget includes the festival participation fee, stipends for our amazing production team, a modest budget to build costumes, as well as money for postcards.
What will the piece look like?
We know that "a picture is worth a thousand words" and so... here are a few of our favorite photos by Paula Lobo from our workshop of the first part of Isis Variations at the CoolNY Dance Festival 2014, in DUMBO, Brooklyn, NY this past February.
